CETS Work-study Job Application
Job Description:
- Staff Help Desk; provide 1st tier IT support to the faculty, staff, and students of the Engineering School. Respond to clients’ requests via walk-ins, phone calls, and email.
- Provide 1st tier support for classes, conferences, and meetings in need of tech assistance while in session; use Slack to seek remedies and/or escalate issues to the appropriate group when warranted.
- Assist users with account creation, WIFI access on laptops and personal devices, 2-Step authentication, & urgent matters requiring an immediate response.
- Monitor ticket tracking system (Fresh Service) to accurately assess requests/problems, properly route submissions to appropriate groups, track issues, etc.
- Handle AV equipment loan pickups and returns.
- Handle computer and tech equipment deliveries and notifications.
- Monitor peripheral equipment and environmental conditions in CETS computer labs.
Hourly Rate:
$12.00/hour
