How can I avoid having my mail blocked by spam filters?
- Minimize the use of large fonts, colored fonts or ALL CAPS, including in your signature file. All of these raise your spam score.
- Use a specific, descriptive subject. Vague subjects like URGENT ASSISTANCE NEEDED!!! may raise your spam score, along with common spam keywords like confidential, assistance, business, attention, reply, response, or help.
- Do not send attachments of the file types listed in Sending Prohibited Attachments. These types can be dangerous and are often blocked.
