Transferring your emails from Google@SEAS to personal Gmail

Things to check on your Google@SEAS account:

  1. Make sure you have disabled 2-step verification
  2. Make sure you have checked "enable POP for all mail" in the account settings.
  3. Make sure you select "Keep SEAS Mail's copy in the Inbox"

  4. Turn on/enable "Allow less secure apps"
    1. Visit https://myaccount.google.com/
    2. In the "Sign-in & security" column, click on "Signing in to Google"
    3. Scroll down, and turn on "Allow less secure apps"

On your personal Gmail account:

  1. Go to Settings -> Accounts and Import
  2. In the "Check mail from other accounts" section, click "Add a mail account"

  3. Enter your SEAS email address (replacing PennKey with your SEAS account name)

    The following should be entered:

    1. Email address: PennKey@seas.upenn.edu
    2. Username: PennKey@seas.upenn.edu
    3. Password: your Google@SEAS password
    4. POP server: pop.gmail.com
    5. Port: 995
    6. Always use SSL: checked
