How much quota (disk space) do I have?
The amount of disk storage allocated by the filer to ENIAC home directories varies by user type:
- Faculty: 40GB
- SEAS students: 16GB
- SEAS staff: 12GB
- Non-SEAS students, activity accounts and other: 4GB
Please do not waste disk space. Disk space is a shared resource, so please use it responsibly.
How do I check my quota?
Use one of the following methods to check your quota:
- Log into the SEAS Account Management website for detailed information about your quota usage.
- On the Linux command line, type
quota -v
. - On Windows machines in the SEAS labs, right-click on your S: drive and select Properties.
Does email count against my quota?
Your Google@SEAS email and data does not count against your SEAS home directory quota.
Need more space?
Note that all students, faculty and staff have generous storage with Google Drive via Google@SEAS (recommended).
If you need more space in your ENIAC home directory, please contact CETS.
